2018 LS 1LE - white

Love:
The white/black monochromatic contrast
Sound from 5-7,000 rpm in Sport mode
Handling
Value - car was only $28k (sorry, had to add a 4th love)

Hate:
Pill-box feel with high sill
that my wife gets nauseous in the car
crappy jack points to lift the car up

Yeah, whats up with that? This is the first car I've ever driven where stepping on the clutch doesn't cancel the cruise control.

Presently own a 1SS M6 but I owned a 2016 V6 A8 prior, so this is a composite:

Loves:

- Light, nimble feel. Handles like an extension of your mind

- Refined high quality feel

- Looks, exterior and interior

Hates....well, dislikes at worst:

- Having to treat it with kid gloves for jacking...makes DIY stuff more of a PIA

- Rapidity of brake dust accumulation on wheels. You really have to stay on top of it

- Needing so much space for door swing to allow me to enter/exit the car without scuffing the door panels and sills, wrenching my spine, or having to slither in/out like an eel; plus all the attendant trouble I need to go through in choosing ( and obtaining ) a parking spot that allows for this. It should be said however this is endemic of all/most 2-door sport coupes.

I have to second this gripe from a previous post upthread:

"Don't like:
* Clutch that engages way way UP
* Hard to get off line smoothly

I'm used to it now, but the first few weeks were humbling to me: I have had and driven manual trans cars for 35+ years. I had an A6 Camaro for 2 years and I couldn't believe how fast I "unlearned" a manual trans...I felt like an incompetent newbie till I mastered the clutch take-up point.

Love:

Interior
exterior
Powertrain

Hate:

Back seat
HVAC control strip seems like an afterthought
Spoilers aren’t interchangeable across all models. (Seriously, this is stupid)

For the most part I love this machine and my “hates” are more like annoyances than anything else.

17 1LE

Im a fan:
Brakes
HUD
PDR
Seats
LT1
T6060
eDiff

Not a fan:
Tire cost/size. (want 18's)

Headroom (gotta slouch a wee bit with a helmet on)
Large doors (2dr car problems..)
Visibility (Wish blind spot assist was an option for 17 1LE. Though better than 5th gen)

I'm a fan of that. Blew my mind that I could up shift with cruise on. Usually 5-6 after being able to settle into a speed.

Love:
1.) Dual mode exhaust
2.) Rev match

Nothing else comes to mind.
