I love all the headlines of the sections on the website: http://www.chevrolet.com/upcoming-ve...ro-sports-car#

"Good looks really can get you places"

sure...people will think you are a Dodge Charger police car...

"The fittest just got fresher"

The fittest just got fuglier. Its like the girl at yoga that is a butter-face. But the rest of her is fine.

"Watch as the competition fades to black"

Watch as our competition steals more of our sales.

I'm not even sure an LT5 can fix this...

I do wonder how the non-RS models look. One of the things I didn't like about the 6th gen design was how cheap looking the non-RS models looked. That was something the 5th gen got right in that the non-RS's still looked good.

The hyper blue SS doesn't look that bad on video but the overall design isn't as balanced as the current one. I need to see it in person still. The unorthodox look can grow on me. Not sure about the wheels, need to see in person too.

How about a pic of the SS where the top of the license plate matches with the top of the center bar, covering the bowtie?

I took a fresh look at the Cruze and the Malibu for comparison, and unfortunately this design change seems to be a very conscious move towards a unification of look and feel across the GM car lineup. This look is very sedate, an attempt at appeasing as many buyers as possible by further toning down the brash muscle car appearance, overly European and "metro" (and this is coming from someone born and raised in Europe)

Made me sad, not just because the new front is ranging from hideous (SS) to borderline acceptable (RS), but also as this is definitely not some sort of oversight or mistake but a strategic move away from distinguishing the Camaro.

One of the "luxuries" of owning an '05 GTO for 11 years was that GM quit making it after '06, so all those years I never had to endure a styling update that made my GTO obsolete.

I knew when I bought my '16 SS that it would only be "new" for a couple of years. So here we are--the moment has arrived. Yeah, it stings a little. But that's okay. I'm sure lots of people see us in our gen-sixes and wish they could have one, and I'd wager that will continue.

As for the new styling, I'll have to look at it a while. My initial reaction isn't great, but then again I remember being a teen and being unhappy that the '77 Firebird ditched round headlights for four rectangular ones. Eventually got used to that. Didn't like the C4 Corvette compared to the C3, but got used to that (and even bought one). Time will tell.

Yeah, what’s the point of the flowtie if it's stuck onto the bumper?

After a little thought, I like the front new front ends....I think they may lend themselves to some aftermarket personalization....The RS looks like it's going back to the first 5Gen look, and the SS to a lesser degree....not a bad thing.... SS and ZL1s will be more easily recognizable....

Maybe Heritage Grills will make a comeback....Looks like there is room now for it or other type grilles...

It is funny because I was among those that really liked the 2014 5gen rearend refresh and its 1gen inspired retro tail lights (first gen also had quad depending on the year). So the 2014-2015 ZL1 was the best 5gen look for me also. But I ended up not liking the 2014 refresh front end all that much aside from the Z28... and I'm not a fan of these refresh front ends either. But here I am loving the return to the quad lights because I feel it just fits the backend better here.
Actually I think the taillights on the 2018 ZL1-1LE look better.
