Updated

Updated sorry for those of you I didn't add for awhile.

ModdedSS I put you in V8 Modified for now but Nitrous will bump you to unlimited or super-mod depending on mlee's final call. So make sure you figure out your class choice. You can still run nitrous in your grudge match racing and test and tune though.

So far we're over 50 people. I added some V6 guys who have posted as likely coming in the respective V6 sections I really hope these 6th Gen V6 guys show up so we can compare old to new especially the FI builds.

Shopping for an 18" drag setup for the fest. Should be a great time. Pretty sure I'm not gonna do so well in the SuperMod group but IDGAF lol gonna be some fun.

^^^This is what it's all about. An entire weekend of Camaro fun and as many runs down the track as you want.

Would this style of shoe (not this particular one) count as closed toe for racing? Just looking for an option that would not be so hot.

My car is my car lol. I pay for all my parts, do all my work and tuning.

Yes I am GPI. But this is not a sponsored shop car. This is my personal car that I have owned since before I worked here.

But ill run whoever, its all good with me!

Maybe I can get setup to race one of the other cars in the MOD class that is actually receiving free parts from places as a sponsorship!!

You know what i meant. It's just cool to see the shop sponsored cars have to duke it out head to head to get to the finals. Then maybe a non-sponsored car finds a way to win in the finals or doesn't.

I'm with Mlee on this... NGAF is all about the fun and getting the car down the track. I enjoy being part of the fun, just as much as watching the fun. Whether it's a stock 4-cy, or a heavily modified 1000 hp monster.... I pull for them all to enjoy the ride!!!

now if anyone can sit near me, and know my wife enjoys taking the car down the track, you will thoroughly be enjoyed hearing her comment on each car. "Oh, I can beat that one", "Oh I can beat him" "OMG that sounds dangerous, I can't beat him". LOL!! but ask her to 'race' someone and she says "no", ask her to have some fun on the track and you can't drag her out of the car.... because she is "Having Fun in the car" and this event is made for her and people like her.

Heck I ran all Motor last year in unlimited and got runner up. It’s anybodies game. I’m glad to run any car in the class that is sponsored or another shop car.

Gen5 or gen6.

We raced Thumper II last year for the first time, I think it was the first time I dumped the clutch and held the throttle to the floor. It was a blast, first time down a drag strip in 30 years. Yes it is still drag racing and it counts but for some of us it's all about the fun and experience.
