Leaked - 69 Words GM Banned From its Employees Vocabularies

From the article:
The list of words was circulated along with a condescending PDF file, explaining to employees just how important it is for them to use corporate rhetoric and refrain from using their brains or emotions.

10 documents showing all the words

Lot of GM bashing lately. I read the presentation - drama queen authors comments aside, the direction makes good sense in our litigious society.

Don't see the issue with telling employees not to be dummies

I agree, if I had a company I would want these guidelines also.

Maybe whats worrisome is not that they issued the doc but that they had to. Still a reflection on our times not on gm.

Corvair, that's hilarous. A car SOOOO dangerous because it's engine was in the back and it was 'unsafe at any speed." Funny, had no problem with VW beetles LOL. Which would you rather be in in a accident? Decades ago my sister borrowed a beetle to drive to Louisville, got caught in a rain storm and a gust of wind blew it off the road as she did three 180's and ended up in the medium. "Unsafe at any Speed," the birth of non-factual tabloid journalism. BTW knew a couple of people with Corvairs back in the day, those things were awesome in the snow.
