While they are pretty useless thus far, there is a mirror but the mirror has no cover.

Assuming one would swing it out to the driver's window (can that even be done?), the glare from the sun would blind other drivers.

Got me thinking, am I missing something?

My wife was disappointed that there were no lights or cover. Guess it's because it's a convertible.

The visors only go backward and forward, very disappointing and poor overall design! They appear to be an afterthought especially as you pointed out no mirror cover, so you get to stare at your crotch when it's pushed all the way forward. The forward position needs more travel forward for more adjustment. Very annoying!

My wife & I are also very disappointed as well with these on this car as the 16 Z06 had a cover, lights & could swivel to toward the side windows to protect against the morning and evening sun while driving! I had to get my windows tinted to help with light and heat. Doesn't make sense that they couldn't at least have lighting and mirror cover on these at a minimum.

I was so enamored with the 6 gen ZL1 convertible when buying it that I missed checking visors until the next day when my wife tried them and complained. I was already unhappy with no PDR was available (would have been nice to have a factory camera built in and just in case I ever get a rollbar for an occasional track moment), I was close to returning it and getting my traded Z06 back.

Maybe someday someone will come out with a visor solution, "maybe", but this was a huge FAILURE on the design Team Camaro crew!!! Maybe ask "Al" on the visor failure...

Man. Really?

If that is the case, why bother having one designed into it?

And if you are going to design one in, then the thing should do something.

While I am at, $50K + vehicle doesn't have something covering the mirror on the visor?

Not a deal breaker, but I am guessing your car didn't come with a top at all.
