Checklist for Pickup

Hi guys, hopefully i will be picking up my car this week and wondering if there are things that i should pay more attention to. So far i have the checklist items below:
1- Making sure no damage outside and inside
2- Making sure no paint defects
3- Odometer reading is appropriate for an ordered brand new car
4- Making sure no front bumper license plate bracket or no holes
5- Removal of Shipping Spring Spacers
6- Top Coolant reservoir is full and bottom is half full to the right level
7- Making sure dealer puts premium fuel for the trip to gas station
8- Navigation sd card is in its place
9- Making sure the wheel lock key is in the car

Anything else that you guys recommend? Thank you.

Sounds crazy but I’d bring a quart of oil with you. Check oil level when it’s offloaded.
Check tire pressure before the drive home

Definitely check the basics listed here, especially if you have potential dealbreakers, but don't worry if you miss a thing or two from the exhaustive list Maverick linked, the car is under warranty.

Check the tires for tread fractures. I don't call them cracks, because they are worse. Occurs when an SS 1LE, ZL1, or ZL1 1LE are driven in cold temps

So that one is good to know because the winter was pretty brutal this year in the midwest. GM also hold the car for quality inspection, which my understanding is, they drive the car for a little while to check things out. With the temperatures we had, these tires shouldn’t be driven below 20 degrees F. I hope the tires are in good shape. Thanks for the advice.

This is something I screwed up. Dealership pushed some extra options on me like locking lug nut, some protection on the door, onstar, weather proof mats. I obviously didn't want any of it. I had to fly out to pick up the car and I looked over the car for any damage ect and drove out of there. Only to find out most of the stuff I paid for except for on star was never in the car. I called the dealership back, they said they would mail it to me and of course I never got it.

Yes, comprehensive is an understatement when it comes to that thread, and it definitely needs to be filtered down to the reader's personal OCD level! It did help me to focus on the potential "things can happen in delivery" issues when I picked mine up.

Also check hood and door alignments. My hood was way off. Dealer took care of it in about 1/2 an hour.
