FLEXLINK E85 SYSTEM

Hey everyone... I'm ready to pull the flex fuel trigger and was interested in the flexlink system with bluetooth functionality for reading active E ratios.

Anyone else with this kit?
Would love to hear some feedback... or point me in the direction of a better system?

I use the DSX flex kit with Bluetooth analyzer from LSA Conversion. Works great.

Back when I wanted to monitor ethanol I had a P3 gauge and was going add the optional E sensor. It was an expense that I didn’t want to incur. I also was going to go with the Bluetooth and use phone app. The Banks iDash SuperGauge was the path I chose. The Bluetooth and app is more economical.

I have that kit and love it - it's been installed since November of 2019 when I was bolt ons. My car has heads/cam now and the bluetooth flex fuel kit has been great to date with no issues. It's really convenient when I have to blend fuel at the pump.

100% e85 or like e40? i was told today the fuel system cant handle e85 only like e40 max so everytime you fill up you'll have to obviously have to mix the fuels.

I would just get a standard Flex fuel kit. You can monitor E content with your phone. All you need is a 15.00 obd2 bluetooth adapter, and the torque pro app.

Bones stock car can handle up to E70. If you mix E and pump 50/50 you will end up around E50...plenty of octane and simple.

I am tuned for and I run e70 and my local pump is preblended to e70 so I don’t have to mix. Mods in my sig below.

I have headers, intake, 2.3 pulley and flex. I run between E35-45 without any issues. I used the flex link in the beginning but bought a banks gauge to monitor other things so I have E content on that. Mixing isn’t bad - most pump E isn’t E85 as stated before. So I do almost 50/50 and gets me close enough around E45.

I have the DSX flex fuel kit then added a Aeroforce gauge and it reads e content via the OBD2 port. No drama.

Lol, it’s well worth it. Camaro1973 added a low side to his 2650 build and it makes an extra 40 or so whp on E35
