Procharging the ride

Hey whats up all figured id post up the project. Almost done with it I just have to install the meth kit and the gauges and have it turned. It made 487whp on e85 previously, dont think I can run it with boost so im doing the meth injection route.

How many # of boost do you expect?

Very nice, is there any way you could move that intake somewhere cooler?

I know the intercooler will help a lot but it would be nice to ingest cooler air as well

not to sure yet, with the mods and pulley ratio at my altitude (4500') it should be 8-10psi

I definitely will post the dyno, it did 487whp 469tq on e85 up here with the mods previously im hoping for mid 600s
Honestly for me it wasn't bad but ive been a tech for a long time working on race teams and such so i have all the tools and im used to taking stuff apart on the ground. From start to finish it took me about 5hrs with a beer break. I still have to put the meth kit in and wire up the gauges but that wont take very long

I know its in a terrible location, heat soaking the hell out of the compressor and the air filter. I have a week or so more till the dyno day so i think im going to build a head shield with some heat tape to help that. The manifolds are coated but its still going to suck in all that hot air

Thought they fixed/ moved the air filter in recent versions...

I'm at the same altitude. Pretty sure you'll need the 3.9 pulley to get 8#, 3.7 to get 10#.
