Husky Liners Mud/Splash Guards ~ Has anyone Used them???

Hi All,

I'm looking for mudflaps/splash guards and came across these...

http://www.huskyliners.com/Custom-Mo...SlideControler

Imho, the GM ones a little too bulky and the others I've seen a little too flimsy. These appear to be somewhere in between.

However, I can't find much info on them or any decent pics of how they might look on the car...a 2010 yellow SS.

So if anyone has used them and cares to comment that would be great. If you can post some pics of them on your/a car that would be even better!

Cheers

Bryan.

I just got them for my car but I haven't put them on yet. If I get around to it this weekend or the next I will post some pics for you.

These are the ones I got:

Those actually look decent. I hate the look of the GM splash guards.

Agreed on both counts.

Are the Huskies fairly rigid?

Bryan.
Thanks for posting this, Bryan. I share you opinion on other "splashguards" I have seen. For less than $100, I'll take a chance on these - just ordered a set.

Do any of the makers of splash guards actually help protect the gill area's of the car, I'd like to know before ordering them.

Yes. The OEM ZL1 splash guards work as do the RPI stealth splash guards.

Any reason to not use the ZL1 splash guard other than price? They are made or the car.

Thanks, I did a search and can't find any pics of what the Husky Guards look like on a Camaro......I don't even think the pic on Husky's web-site is a Camaro.

I can't see buying there guards ( especially the fronts ) if I can't see what they'll look like on a Camaro, maybe someone will post some pics of there Camaro with them on it.

As for the ZL1 guards, as mentioned they too look a little flimsy and don't seem to cover the entire width of the wheel. I could be wrong, but I also think they only come for the rears. You'd have to get the RPI ones for the front and they look even flimsier. Not trying to start an argument, just my observation.

The husky liners seem to be big enough to provide good coverage, but not bulky enough to take away from the look of the car. However, as it's been mentioned there's no way to know either without some pics!!
