I believe the NHRA classifies forced induction as well as nitrous as being "power adder"..not necessarily forced induction.

Been awhile since Ive read the rules. You could be right. One thing for sure though NOS is not considered NA to the NHRA.

Like I said this argument has been going on forever. I see both sides of the argument, but to me it is Forced in the sense that more oxygen and more fuel is being introduced by an artificial means outside of what the motor could ever do on its own. Our engine builder has the same philosophy on the subject which is good enough for me.

I actually enjoy your posts. You're ok in my book. But to answer your question. A racing classification just means they are lumping nitrous in with FI to keep things fair. It wouldn't be fair if it was included in with bolt-ons since nitrous can add 50-200+ hp. But that does not mean it is actually FI by any means.

I see you changed your tone tough guy. You can word it however you want. Just don't include me in your fantasies about drowning people. My previous answer stands. So I won't waste my time explaining it again.

Being classified as forced induction by a racing organization and actually being forced induction are not the same. Classifications are used to keep the racing fair or to provide fair rules. Nitrous being lumped in with forced induction is standard. But it is not FI...unless they change the actual definition of FI.

Was Evans car a ringer??? Ford prepped car?? The rundown

Evan..... Customer
1.88......1.86.. -.02
7.72......7.81.. +.09
95.2......93.5...-1.7 Mph
11.83....11.97.. +.14
119.5....119.0.. - .5

Mmmmmm better 60ft and look at that!! Evans run still went Quicker in the 1/8 Et and Mph....

Here is another customers car on a drag pack in negative DA.

Evan..... Customer
1.88...... 1.88....——
7.72...... 7.85... -.13
95.2...... 94.0... -1.2 Mph
11.83.... 11.97... + .14
119.5..... 119.5...———

Same 60ft,better Da,drag pack, same 1/4 Mph... but look!!! 1/8 mile et and Mph!!

Really interesting that both the customer that went 11.97 and Ecobeast from YouTube both ran in killer DA. Both used Drag Mode. And both trapped 93 in the 1/8. Both trapped 119.

Looks like off the lot cars aren’t the same as media prepped cars.
this is bench racing at its finest!

LOL did you actually complain about that and get it deleted? I thought I forgot to hit submit before I went to bed. I used "You" as a point of reference not because I want to drown you.
