Finally hit the dyno 451/472 with a few bolt ons
Car made 451/472 to the wheels. Mods are TSP headers, tsp x-pipe, 160 stat, Cold air kit, I hand ported the factory intake manifold, ported throttle body, and e85. Had some issues with the e85 sensor. So we ended up doing 10 gallons of 93 octane and 8 gallons of e85.

Do you have a baseline to show the increase?

Which sensor do you have

Definitely need a baseline to allow for dyno variance, which can be great.

Those bolt ons should net you +~80 rwhp. If it's a low reading dyno and you baselined around 370 rwhp stock, than you are right on par If it's an average reading dyno and you baselined 390 rwhp stock, than something might be up. Good luck

It’s the smg e85 Kit. The in and out signal was wrong on the harness to the e85 sensor and the ground wire on the coil plug harness was in the wrong location.
Once we had fixed those issue we couldn’t get the sensor to read at all. Unfortunately I didn’t have another sensor to switch it with. So Formato did a conservative tune for me On e85. I also need to add my aftermarket exhaust. My car doesn’t have the npp exhaust option. As for the dyno. I used the one out at Keith’s pit stop in Gettysburg for when we did the tunning. Keith’s dyno does read low. I did use my buddy mikes dyno for a baseline. Here in a few weeks I plan on taking it back to see how much I have gained. I know dyno numbers aren’t everything. My track times are more important to me. Car ran 12.3 bone stock and that was using launch control. Last edited by LeoDirt; 11-06-2019 at 12:34 PM. |
