This is to be expected, and while some grow frustrated with the cyclic qualities of car enthusiast forum membership, I find a certain satisfaction in knowing that a member who starts by asking these questions and gets them answered will grow to become a Camaro enthusiast for life thanks to the help of Camaro5 experts and hobbyists.

It is this predictability that causes us to buy what we buy for our cars. We don't expect a revolution when we install headers. We know what they'll do and approximate gains. We know from experience that an exhaust with mandrel bends is better than the stock one, and we expect a certain gain from this change. We know the best bang for our buck is in these bolt-on modifications because many of us have been there, asking what we should try, and getting answers from the older, wiser, and more experienced enthusiasts who've tried their hand at building muscle from machine.

Predictability is why we are here. Muscle cars are a science for us, and some of our members have spent years ripping on Mustangs and Challengers—even remembering times when they all rode together in different bodies with different engines—and building track-conquering masterpieces in our garages. We predict that some brands will come back to build us the same quality components that many members have had on their cars for years. We predict upcoming RPO codes and options that even GM couldn't have forseen 10 years ago. After all, GM cut the F-body in 2002, but we kept the faith and knew the Camaro would return to our garages.

There is a certain comfort in knowing what is coming. We place a lot of weight on knowing how we will do competitively, and we even have a dedicated section of the forum regarding our Camaros versus whatever challenged you in your neighborhood. This way, we can discuss and predict the outcome of how that race will go come track night. Rarely is the community wrong when we put our minds together.

Competition is fun, and it is fun to watch your team win, especially when you know the outcome of the close race. Every season, we compete, roughly knowing where we stand, and it brings a sense of calm to our otherwise tumultuous lives.

Kansas is once again on its way to the NCAA Tournament as a number 1 seed, and predictably enough is leading the Big 12 Conference, having beaten number 2 Kansas State. KU hasn't missed a tournament in over 2 decades, and every year brings a predictable dominance to college basketball. I just wanted to share.
