Even though it is CLEARLY not a Camaro, I had to post this here. I was doing my usual bike ride around Belle Isle and came across this.....
The owners are an older couple. Turns out the plate was originally on a '72 Corvette Stingray, then a '77 then a '79, but has been on three Mustangs since then. The owner says he has had offers up to $800 to relinquish the plate.

 . Not sure about your state but as of 8-12-17 they were all available in a Texas 6 or 7 character format with / without the dash, star, or state silhouette as a separator. Hope some find a home... Switching vanity plates
So, I posted a while back on this thread that my current vanity plates are BRVHT for my favorite movie of all time, Braveheart. I've had them since 2007, and they first went onto my 2006 GTO. Well, it was time for a change. I needed something that is associated with speed, but also is a nod to something else that's a favorite of mine. I racked my brain for days, and decided on:
GDDIUP -"Giddy up" It's a nod to HP, the 0-60 quickness of this car, and also to a favorite phrase of mine that Kramer, of Seinfeld, used all of the time. It was very hard to find a combination that worked, because "Giddy up" is apparently a HUGE favorite of people in MA. Literally, every other letter combo that would read right was already in use. However, I'm thrilled with my choice, and they were ordered and cleared at the RMV today!
