28 x 10.5 slick, methanol for fuel. Yeah we have that other 100hp in there went from 14psi up to 18psi. We will keep upping the boost until it breaks.

Nitrous 1 is a 40 shot and we spray that on the tbrake to get it to spool. Then after launch we add in nitrous 2 which is a 110shot. That means we are leaving with 7psi and a 150shot. The nitrous is off by .5sec and we are at 15psi by then. We are near full 700hp so he entire run.

Look at the exhaust pressure ratio.

.662 means you’ve got the right combo from turbos, A/R and exhaust? Unless I’m thinking backwards that’s super efficient. Right?

that is a ratio of pre turbo exhaust pressure to intake pressure. it is taking .6psi of exhaust pressure to make 1psi of boost. it seems crazy low to me which is a good thing. turbos are barely working. it is 2000+hp worth of turbos.

Awesome! The engine is making some good numbers. That efficiency is one of the best I’ve seen on a log.

We ran into an issue with compressor surge once we went over 17psi. The turbos would freak out and boost would drop. They are just not happy at this much boost and this low of airflow. I will post up a pic of the map, the + mark is where we are on the map. To fix this I modified one of the bov to push open with boost but not too far open and let some air just vent. This got us past the surge issue and let us bump the boost to get a new best et. This run was at 22psi.

I see I didn’t get back to the loss of oil pressure issue. The “drag” pan got us from a low of 38psi up to around 45psi but dropped all the way to under 10psi on decel. Next I tried an accusump. Sadly it didn’t help with wot oil pressure but it did the the decel up to 30psi or so. Still seeing just 45psi down the track. I am thinking about trying a pressurize the accusump to get it to push the oil out with more pressure.
