I did these few things to avoid overspray. I put an old sock over every exhaust tip. I taped off with paper the valance panel between the exhaust tips and then I was careful about where I aimed on the sides of the muffler to avoid over spray onto the bottoms of the quarter panels. I put an old rug down to lay on and to protect the garage floor. I didn't really worry about overspray on the undercarriage area around the muffler. No one will ever see it and if you take your time and are careful with your aim you will not get much overspray. Four years later - it still looks good. Do it - it was easy.
