You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

It's very fast.

The next Zxx I'm sure will be a monster in performance and price. I'm just not sure I need it. History says I change my mind a lot though.
The manual transmission.. Still the best anti-theft device on the planet.

Everyone in my house knows how to drive a standard.. I even started teaching the 9 year old already.

Haha, no doubt about that. My girls can all drive a manual also but they don't like it.

Exhaust note is awesome. Engine is very snappy and car is fast. Not ZL1 fast but feels way faster than 5th SS. The 8 speed auto is awesome. The SS would be a phenomenal daily driver. I probably shouldn't have driven it, because now I want one!
Thanks Blueclyde for your write up. I would like to get your opinion on how the SS NPP compares to the ZL1 exhaust. I love the burble and small backfires while coming to a stop and the roar of the full throttle of the ZL1. How does the NPP of the SS compare? Thanks for your write up and opinion.

Different sound from the SS. Not quite as deep as the ZL1 but sounds snappier. It also has some decal crackle. The exhaust note is really good like the ZL1.

Just thought I would chime in on the 6th gen SS NPP exhaust note......it is F-Ing awesome!!! I picked up my 2SS 4 days ago and have turned it on and revved it to only about 2800rpm for about 10 different friends and family and they are all blown away by the sound. Once the engine settles into its normal idle at about 800rpm it has a deep, slightly lumpy note. When you give it any gas it ROARS and then crackles and pops as it settles back towards idle. All this while in neutral. When it is in gear and active rev match is on......I can't put it into words. The sound is all I have thought about for 4 days. And the worst part is that is started snowing 2 hours after I picked it up and the temperature hasn't cracked 20 here for 4 days so it has been garaged other than the 20 mile drive from the dealership. You will not be dissappointed by V8 NPP unless you are just an exhaust dork.

Well, it looks like I will be jumping into a 6th Gen 2SS thanks to the best Chevrolet sales lady and dealer experience available.
