OK...sooo...what if someone just drilled a bunch of holes in the block to increase airflow while keeping out leaves and snow or replacing block with screen. Does anyone have a picture of this said Block?

Yeh...its a big block...the only big block I want to see under a hood is a 396 or 427 or 454.

Agree.
But I would accept a small block of that size as well.

The delay in releasing this cold air intake is becoming ridiculous. Even if Vararam's cold air intake is superior to the competition, I'm not certain that having to wait 3+ years from the release of the sixth-generation Camaro is justified, regardless of the advertised power gains.

put it this way IMO, all these CAI are worth -5 to 10 HP. These guys have a good rep for power production, and 3 years longer in design, so say they are in the top end of this IMO power band, so would that be with say 1 to 2 HP either way of a Rotor-Fab, the perceived current top dog.?

IMO of course. There will be a shootout and then some head scratching, rest assured.

If any vendor really had a CAI so much better they would be offering a 100% refund including the cost of the dyno test if somebody else shows more gain on a stock car. Nuff said.
