Agree, but I'm sure glad you clarified that was CAD.

I'm looking at end of August. Need to get past Camaro Fest 1st.

If you already have a Camaro why not just go do trackdays with it. I don't really get what's so special about this and what you would gain over using your own car at a typical track day. It would be cool if Chevrolet offered one day of this free with the purchase of the car the way Ford does though.

That was pretty solid on Ford’s part, the advanced drivers probably got a little bored though...which everyone claimed to be. Didn’t look like too many in my group though, as 2 of the guys had never driven a stick lol.

My favorite part was after practicing and getting instructed all day, you get to ride passenger with a pro...THAT was a humbling experience, but also showed ya that seat time was the best mod.

Is it spring yet?!!

Instructors are great for a novice with a new car but anything past that they need to know your car and hopefully better than you do. I feel like there is a lot to learn from these guys and it would be a blast to go do this and progress some skills. Besides that it would be a blast. Any track time is and my next date is in Feb.

I have some decent seat time under my belt but still learned a little from the Ford school (for the Focus RS). It mostly just cut the learning curve a bit on how much you really have to abuse the RS to get fast times out of it

But it was still fun and worth the flight.. I'm not as sure this would be worth the $3k for advanced drivers. I can absolutely see the value for anyone that's novice or even just moved to intermediate.

This one certainly isn't moving but I'm sure one of the track groups is on the schedule at a track near you but you'll have to bring your own car.

Hey mlee, when you decide to come up to Area 27 give me a shout. I just live 30 minutes from the track.
