New Camaro Owner Questions!
Hey guys! I am new to these forums, just took home my 2018 Camaro 1SS today and loving it so far. Just a couple of questions if anyone can answer them for me!
1. I have seen people do the window trick, rolling them down with the key, any idea how to do that? 2. Any suggestions on what type of exhaust to get? (as in catback, axle back, etc) 3. Has anyone replaced the bowtie emblems? Is it hard to do? Thanks guys! |

If you can think of it, it's probably already been done and answered many (many!) times. Nigel |

1. If you hold the unlock button on the fob for several seconds it will lower the windows.
2. Don't know 3. Rear bow tie was pretty easy, used a blow dryer and dental floss. Front one was a bigger pain, ended up removing the top metal plate over the radiator and broke the tabs off the back of the old emblem and the new one snaps right in! |

Welcome as the newest member of the Band-Aids (Almost Famous reference) As far as the window trick, after you unlock her, continue holding the button and walaa!! The magic happens.
As far as exhaust goes I have NPP so I can’t help you there. Plenty of reference on the site tho: YouTube as well. Far as the emblems go I’ve seen it done by others on both YouTube and here, yet I haven’t done it myself so my advice is no good there. But I’m sure you can locate the info here somewhere if you look. There’s a wealth of wisdom in these here mountains.

Welcome to the site. Adding one tip for you to make your search easier. If you go to google, type in "camaro6" then what you're looking for. 9 times out of 10 it will pull up any threads related to your search from the forum. Hope you're enjoying your car .

For the window to roll down, you have to enable it in the settings menu on the infotainment center. I don't know which section it is under specifically, but it's there and you have to enable it.

I added a Flowmaster American Thunder axle back exhaust to my stock NPP dual mode and the sound is exhilarating! Not just louder - which it is - but far more intoxicating than the stock muffler. It's simply the best sounding V8 engine I've ever experienced. If it's too loud I switch to TOUR mode which is quieter than SPORT/TRACK, about the same as the stock SPORT/TRACK modes. Not as costly as the other axle backs - I highly recommend it.
