Hi All,

I'm new here... I have been viewing the forums for a few weeks and have found a lot of great information! I have a silver 2011 2LT/RS purchased used with 14000 miles on it. I love this car!!! I've always have been a bit of a gear head before this car so the first thing I did was change out the audio system. I started my research here and wow that was the right thing to do. I found detailed breakouts of how to remove the panels and what to do and not to do and really appreciated all the extremely detailed photos and documentation. The doors where by far the easiest thing to do.

The rear 6x9's well that's another story.. it took all day to do them, but it was well worth it. I purchased the sub thump harness kit because there was no way i was going to rip into my new cars wiring harness. This was a fun project.. I went with the zenenclosures setup and am happy with it. I have rockford fosgate 6.5's 2 ways in the doors and 3 way 6x9's. I have a 10" fosgate sub. I went with 2 autotek 1200.4 amps, one to replace the factory amp and the other for the sub. Good amps for the price. I have always used fosgate speakers in all my cars.. I really like how clean and loud they are. I think my next project will be changing out the stock alloy wheels... like them, but I really want black wheels with a deep chrome lip. Any who.. i wanted to introduce myself.

dnkygirl, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
