Looking for real sway bar upgrades - Specifically the BMR SB052
I am pretty disappointed in the non MRC suspension. I personally can compare the 2 because I have owned 2 identical cars besides that one option. Both lowered on Eibachs and nothing else. My old car felt one with the road. This car feels loose. If I am accelerating hard and going into any turn I am not confident. I installed all of BMR's braces and nothing changed. Car is currently in the shop getting a Maggie and when it comes back I am sure I will not be comfortable. In the cars defense I do stiull need to align it but I wanted to wait until after I install the BMR upper and lower control arms in the rear I have. I know this will make a world of difference. So my question is this. As for sway bars. Will the BMR's be noticeable on a non MRC car? I have no idea how to adjust so that will likely be another thread but I am ready to pull the trigger.

Well that was quick lived lol. Doesn't matter what I read I ordered. Reached out to DynoSteve and the man provided me a discount code I couldn't refuse. I had to order. Looks like the adjusting is straight forward and the furthest in holes are the most aggressive so there we go lol. Here is a great article if interested.

Kinda of a smartass remark, but kinda serious at the same time...
Trade up for an SS 1LE

No sunroof or Auto. No thanks. Plus I absolutely love the look of the FIFTY package. This is my commuter. If I want a race car experience I will pull the cover off the C7 which is a M7. With that said, the 1LE is great for what it is and if I wanted a dedicated track Camaro it would have been an obvious choice. Perhaps once I am done with all these upgrades, I will have a 1LE comparable handling car.

I may have missed prior discussion on your prototype shocks can you tell me more. I spent the last year driving autocross in DS and have added a front bar, track alignment with 275/35 R71's. Have been looking for shocks on stock springs but nobody makes anything for the T4 or any gen6 for that matter. Pm me if you would like. |
