How to disable the forward collision warning?

I asked about this when I first got the car, and someone said to just look on the screen for the option. I can't seem to find it there. It's certainly possible I'm just missing it, I hope. Apparently, I drive aggressively, and it is alarming (as i'm sure it is intended) to have this thing chiming and beeping every few minutes as I am sitting in bay area gridlock. I'm ALWAYS paying attention (haven't rear ended anyone in 25 years of driving, knock on wood...) so how can I turn off this thing??

It’s the button on the steering wheel next to the steering wheel heater button

I think it resets every time you start the car

Thanks! Hope I don't have to do that every time I drive the car though

Mine comes on sometimes when I start the car and sometimes it doesn't. I was curious why this was happening.

If only the car came with some sort of book or manual that explained how everything works. That would be something huh?

I'm curious as to why you would post something to try and belittle me. I didn't ask for help with anything, I simply said sometimes mine is on and sometimes it's off and I was curious about it. I know the car came with a manual that's why I didn't say "How do I fix this". Why do you feel the need to act so arrogant behind a keyboard?

FYI I'm using this handy function that even this old forum engine supports

(I don't put people on it willy-nilly and am generally also happy to argue and discuss things with people who disagree, it's reserved for the hopeless ones.)
