Chevy tailgate commercial

Does the Silverado commercial featuring the dog-like cat portend better advertising from GM in general and Chevy specifically? Seems like it’s been forever since they’ve had a memorable commercial. I even remembered that they were talking about the GMC tailgate now being on a Chevy!

All I know is that it's one of my wife's favorite commercials, since they started running it during the Olympics she is always talking about it

Yeah, that's where we saw it as well. It's a funny commercial. Forgot that it was about the tailgate, though. So, maybe not memorable in the right way?

Meh. It is a better attempt i guess. Everyone should find out who does GEICO commercials and hire them.

Memorable and effective aren't necessarily the same thing. I loved all of the Yogi Berra commercials but have no interest in GEICO as something I would spend my money on.

Fair enough. I would not buy a Chevy truck if they gave it to me free.

It's a good commercial.

Maybe they'll give buyers a swimming cat to distract them?
