2016 Camaro V6 vs 2015 Challenger RT

With the recently release numbers, I think the RT guys have some serious concern when it comes to an LGX equipped Camaro:

GM numbers
2016 Camaro LGX M6:
0-60 - 5.2 sec
1/4 - 13.7 @ 102mph
Lateral G - 0.89g

C&D numbers
2015 Challenger RT M6:
0-60 - 5.1 sec
1/4 - 13.7 @ 103mph
Lateral G - 0.89g

and now for auto...had to use Charger numbers b/c no Challenger RT auto review exists from what I could find

GM numbers
2016 Camaro LGX A8:
0-60 - 5.1 sec
1/4 - 13.5 @ 103mph

C&D numbers
2015 Charger RT A8:
0-60 - 5.1 sec
1/4 - 13.6 @ 105mph

LGX guys will be looking for RT milk money I would say....

LOL. The first thing I thought when I read the numbers this morning was "That's RT territory!"

Should be a pretty even race on stock tires. Slight edge on the Hemi with proper drag tires since the 5.7 is a torquey little slug

Yea definite advantage for the RT with sticky tires. Just crazy to have a stock V6 Camaro in the mid 13s.

Can't wait to see the V6 perform, and I really can't wait to see what some mods can do for it!
