When you enter into upper law enforcement, a psychologist will tell you most law enforcement are adrenaline junkies, the difference is you still enjoy the rush but perfer it in a safe manner.
I've been in corrections, law enforcement and I'm a pastor also, but I love speed and anything that goes fast in a controlled environment. It's been 20 years since I got a ticket, but when no one is around, I drop the hammer. |

We’re cop magnets. Where I live city cops don’t bother me , but state cops which have a barracks in town always follow me. They pull up along side me and wait for me to do something but I don’t and they keep going.

State patrol is much worse here, too, if they pull you over, it's a big ticket no matter what. Local city cops are more ubiquitous but much more chill.

I was pulled over in my '68 SS vert for not wearing my seatbelt - a lap belt not visible to the officer as he was driving by in the opposite direction. I didn't have an inspection sticker but he didn't mention that. He did ask for my drivers license only then proceeded to ask me questions about the car. He was just a car guy in a smaller size town and I didn't mind the time to talk to him. Cops have so many bad things to deal with so a little pleasure and respect every once in a while is the least we can do!!
