Received Navigation Map update notification

Today I received a navigation map update notification in the mail.
Looks like they are charging $140 for it.

That's some real BS if it's true.
Contact your dealer.

Makes sense, work on under warranty vehicles first; right?

I believe all of the car companies charge for map updates. I'm sure the licensing fee they pay to Navteq or whoever is fairly significant.

They just need to get with the times and allow us to project our phones onto the screen so we can use Google maps.....

I recieved the USB dongle today with the software update.
It takes a looooonnnnng time to load.
The instructions estimate 45 minutes, and it looks like it may take that long, if not longer.
I hope it is updating the radio's software as well, because the programming of the OS and file system in the radio is suck ass. It really slow, and freezes up constantly.
