Another 1LE tire sizing question... (Sorry!)

I know we talk about this stuff a bunch but searching goes wonky when we start putting in tire sizes, so here is my specific application. I have a 2018 SS 1LE. Can I put 255/45-20 winter tires on it on stock 5th gen SS wheels without any issues?

I keep hearing about the magride and wiring harness and clearance issues and some of these posts make it seem like it's a *super* tight fit, but some of them make it seem like I can fit taller tires on it no problem!
FAQs:
"Why in the world would you want to go narrower and taller?" you ask. It's for snow tires.
"But I always garage my 1LE and it never sees snow or rain or clouds!" Awesome! I don't do that and I need to drive it this winter.
"Why not simply buy snow tires in the right sizes?" Well, money, mostly! A used set of SS wheels, the tires, mounting, that's two grand! There are several lightly used sets with these sizes for $500 or less.
Thanks!

Are you just asking about the tires or also about the rims?
If rims it depends on the et. What are your OEM wheel size?
I guess
285/30R20 front
305/30R20 rear
Than no. The difference in circumstances is too big the ABS sensor will make alarm

in a straight forward answer when the car first came out it was a little trial and error where many tried a variant of tire sizes either do to tire brand, tread design or simply to see how wide and tall they can get to. point is that if we use the proper by the book tire recommendations then you will have no problems at all, but yes lets say a 285/30/20 is recommended but cost a arm and a leg or only a few models are available then some will try out a 285/35/20 although the numbers are off there are more options in those sizes and the dollar amount is more appealing. but will rub and with a slight mod it will work.

I'll ask the seller if he minds test-fitting the wheels.
