Anyone actually powerlift? I suffered a setback with a torn hamstring 2 months ago and then sepsis which almost did me in. Back to repping out lighter weights to hopefully be pulling in the 700’s again soon.

500lbs for 10 during rehab Tuesday

A couple of us....

I was out 8 months last year with a torn right pec that had to be surgically repaired then I had surgery on my left shoulder.

Don’t know how much I’ll keep pushing it.

I was way off....

Should be a good one for her. She will fly through the lunge and step ups. 50 strict HSPU’s, in a row, is a lot but she should get through them. And she has no problems handstand walking

great videos to watch this morning, great motivation. But I don't do any cardio like that, so after like 5 minutes, I'm laying on the floor. Either dead, or wanting to be dead...lol. Damn she's a beast. I may be big and strong, but I don't want any of that!!

Haha thanks brother! I love to go back and watch the “old” videos and see how far she has come. This is her 4th year of doing CF.

Raptor Jesus..I got my wife powerlifting 6.5 years ago when she was over 200lbs. She’s made an incredible transformation. Her lifts are around 365/185/325. But after seeing her train, I knew she’d be good at CF....so I encouraged her to make the change. She still loves, and does lift heavy. She did a high box squat with 315 x 10 x 2 on Wednesday.

On her CF Journey channel there’s some good concert videos too. Have to upload some Disturbed and Three Days Grace from a couple of weeks ago.

We are too. There is already a cluster forming at 90 reps (inability to do a strict HSPU) and there should be another cluster form at 140 reps (inability to do a handstand walk). If she can just get to the handstand walk!

HSPU's will be the key for this one. Today is a "trial run" so she is going to do 5, then 3, then 21 sets of 2 and see how it goes. She can do 15-18 in a row but we want to see how it goes first before trying a bigger set first round or two.

She managed 128 reps. Didn't get to the handstand walk.

Got 38 HSPU's.....had 4 no reps. I think she can make up enough time elsewhere, and if she doesn't get any no reps on the HSPU's, I think she can get to the handstand walk.

Sucks too because when she was done she walked over to the handstand walk area. Went right up and did 25ft unbroken.

Feeling pretty good. Amanda Allen who won this age group last year at the Games did 129 reps so Monique is just one rep behind her for this workout.

OMG! That BACK and TRAPS!!! You couldn't wipe the smile off my face seeing those muscles pop like that. Damn good training in that woman... as I said... I don't want none of THAT!! She is a killer in the gym!

that's good stuff right there! Is a redo on the schedule?

I ended up with 17 HSPUs. No no-reps and I never put the DB down, I was just unbelievable slow through the step ups and ended up with a 7:57 tiebreaker. Oh well.

Yes not too shabby for a 45 year old with twins that was a fat 206lbs 6 years ago.

She is. And there are even bigger, stronger, faster, more in shape 40 something year old women than her but I have to tell you. I love just to sit and watch her train.....it's something to see....and not because she's "the best" because she is not (she's pretty good though) but watching her perform now when I know what she was, what she went through to get to this point, how hard she worked....just makes me giddy.
