I noticed the other day,that the rubber on my roof that’s above the doors that the corners are all cracked,so,where can I find this rubber strip at.And what is this piece called,I’m assuming some type roof drip seal. Thanks

Roof ditch molding.

You can find it at other places too, also can get it painted body color too like the RS cars.

Those retainer clips (Object 2 in the photo) were referenced in another thread as being problematic in that they break off easily and often. I bought my car w/o them on there and haven't bothered replacing them, for what it's worth.

Lost one of mine forever ago and never bothered to replace it, either.

Mine have been on there for 10 years now and finally need repainting. Never a problem with the clips, yet. lol

I was looking at mine again,and are there some type caps on the corners,all 4 corners seem to have a cap or something where it comes together on front and rear glass,as for the long strip it seems to be fine,it’s black,and never thought about painting it,and I’m assuming it pulls right off.

Yes, the clips and the caps are one piece, be really careful popping them out so they don't break, then that will release the black rubber strip and it just lifts right out, also when re installing the cap/clips be careful here to that they are lined back up and sitting properly before you push them back down and in. They are quite fragile. Good luck..
