Spotter mirrors

Some of you might be interested in these mirrors I installed recently. They are euro style aspherical glass replacements from spottermirror.com. I know I could have stuck on those little blind spot mirrors but I wanted something that looked factory. I also know about proper mirror placement and I was doing that with the original glass, but I still found lane changes on the highway a bit stressful. These totally solve that. Zero blind spots and it just makes driving the car more relaxing. Quality of the glass is perfect.

Before and after pics of driver side showing the wider field of vision.

Nice improvement of vision. I see they're currently going for $50 a pop on the website. I may have to look into this. I haven't had any issues as of yet due to properly using my mirrors, but isn't that what everyone says prior to the first incident?

I did OK with the stock mirrors for 7+ years but after getting these I wouldn't go back. Just makes driving the car easier.

These guys are about 15 minutes from where I live. Will have to swing by, looks like they are running out of a storage unit. Nothing wrong with that, gotta start somewhere.

Great post, OP! Been meaning to share this upgrade since doing it in the fall. For all the reasons you mentioned, these are superior over the stock units. Losing the dimming wasn’t a big deal, I’ve got window tint to handle that. They do not have the typical warning found on the stock mirror, however, so I added my own
