Won't start even after starter replacement

So I was having issues with my 2010 camaro not starting a couple of weeks ago. I was able to get it started by smacking the starter which was a sign to get it swapped out. Went to autozone and picked up a rebuilt one. Once I swapped it out started like normal right away. Drove like normal around 2 weeks and all the sudden the same thing it was failing to start. I would wait around 2 to 3 minutes to start the car and it would. Today I had no luck by doing that. Even smacking the starter did not help. So I went into the fuse box and removed the 30 amp starter fuse and put it back on. Waiting around 10 sec and the car started again. The battery was reading about 12.3V in the dash. I even got it tested before I replaced the stated and they said it was good. I'm not sure what to do but it's weird I was able to start the car by removing and inserting the fuse back in. Has anyone ran into this issue? Or any suggestions on what to check? I don't drive my car often maybe 2 to 3 times a week.

Sounds like maybe you got a bad starter. Maybe it was just coincidence that the fuse pull started it.

Agree, You could have a bad starter. I had that happen several years ago. Put in rebuilt starter. Worked for a while then stopped. Take it back and have it tested.

could have a bad starter but when batteries get low on these cars they can test good but still need to be replaced. if it is the original battery replace it.

I've had a nightmarish history with rebuilt starters.
Do you make sure to transfer the heat shield to your new/rebuilt one? Without it, heat soak causes tha problem

Scotty has a video about why to avoid rebuilt starters, especially that Chinese crap. I'm no mechanic, but your symptoms fit.

Buy an ac Delco starter be done with it. Autozone has crap parts unless it’s disposable things like wires plugs gaskets and such

Go in this order 1. NEW Starter(as everyone else suggested) and since it's a 2010. I'm not sure if you've ever changed the battery, but do that next if you're still having issues. One tip I've learned on this forum that if it's a weird issue, the battery could be the culprit. Good luck!!!!

I'm thinking it's another bad starter. Last month I went through two refurbished power steering pumps before I got one that worked. Original had a leak, 2nd one lacked pressure, and the 3rd one busted the pulley shaft within 5 minutes. I'd try another starter, AC Delco.
