Very cool! But will never be shown. GM is too busy pushing the ugly Silverado's that they can't sell. I smell another Bankruptcy

Not in this country maybe... Chevrolet is more concerned about marketing to snowflakes and soccer moms here. That’s an Australian commercial. Camaro actually has some cool commercials/ads in other countries but even those don’t compare to anything Dodge does.

HSV is the racing arm of Holden - like AMG is to Mercedes.
HSV is owned by the Walkinshaw Family, started by Tom Walkinshaw, who was a scottish Racing team owner (Arrows F1, TWR Le Mans cars etc.) and practically ran the Thunder Saloon racing series in Australia.
When Holden stopped producing domestic Product ( you got the Pontiac GTO and G8), they started importing the Opel Insignia and re-badged them as Commodores - which didn't go down well - FWD and no V8's.
HSV started a separate business a while ago called ASV (American Special Vehicles) converting LHD Chevy's to RHD for the Australian market. ( you can't buy a LHD in Australia - I think it's against the law)
Although Opel/Vauxhall in Europe was sold by GM to PSA (Peugeot Citroen) HSV still have links with the GM parent and Chevy and there is rumour that they'll change their name to 'Walkinshaw' in the near future.
However as far as adverts go, the Aussies really don't a give a s**t about being too politically correct

This.

Also, I haven't seen a single Camaro ad on the TV (I live in Australia), but they do pop up in my Facebook feed. I saw this one in my feed yesterday.

Australian Design Rules for cars say you can only have one set of DRLs.

I was hoping to buy a couple and pop them back in when I get my 2SS, hopefully the wiring harness hasn't been changed.

If australian models are like the european models which also lack the 2nd pair of DRLs, the wires for the additional drls are gone.

For Australia, the 2018 model was based on the European model, but the 2019 (which I have ordered) is based on the US model. I can hope, but I'm guessing I'll be dissapointed.

The DRLs complete the look in my opinion. It's one reason, besides the ugly splitters that I don't like the 1LE version.
