Hello everyone, I own a 2012 Camaro 2SS and it’s time for me to purchase new tires. I wanted to purchase new wheels as well. I’m interested in the MRR M017 LE as well as the M228 replica wheels. I found a link on Phastek Performance with the wheels, but I’m unsure about the sizing and offsets that I should get. I’m also unsure as to which size tires I should purchase with these wheels. My car is completely stock right now with 245/45/20 tires in the front and 275/45/20 in the back. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out and give me suggestions as to what I should be considering with both of these options. This is my first time purchasing aftermarket wheels.

Depends on what setup you want. Honestly i would do the 20x10 front and 20x11 rear. Nice aggressive stance. Its the same factory setup from the ZL1 and 1LE. Tire size will be dependent on you though. Look around on the site and see what you like.

20x10 and 20x11 is the most popular set up
if your looking for inexpensive tire sizes that will look good stick to

275/40/20 front and a 215/35/20 rear

I’m not looking for tires that are necessarily inexpensive. If I purchase these wheels (MRR M017) would I be able to run the same size tires that I currently have (245/45/20 front 275/40/20 rear)? Or is it recommended that I go to 285/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear? Also would I have to modify anything on my car to make these fit?

Op, I have 285 front(10" wheels) and 305 rear(11" wheels). They fit fine. The only thing you may have to do is re-route or zip tie your rear e-brake cable out of the way or it may rub on the rear 11" wheels. Mine did and been zip tied since 2015 with no issues.

Great, thanks! I have also heard about the e-brake cable, I will keep that in mind! So with the M017 wheels, I would get these tires and be set, correct? Or would I need anything else? Thanks again!

Tires and wheels are all I know you need. Mine are ZL1 replicas, looks like the M017 are similar in size/offsets. Those tires are even the same I have. Nice all season tire BTW. You should be good to go.

Went back and looked at the M017 link and seems those require new lug nuts in case you missed that. I was able to use my stock lugs. And I'm still on my stock tpms's. Looks like you can do the same for those.

I went with a square setup with MPSS 285-35-20’s on 20x10 +23’s all around. I did this for handling and the ability to rotate from front to back. A good tire in a 35 series profile handles much better than the 40 series. And being able to rotate from front to rear is a plus. If you like the staggered look go with the ZL1 tire size in the rear. The lower profile tires look better too. Good luck with your decision.

Did you purchase them and have them installed from the same place?

And if you don't mind me asking, where and how much?
