It was rough. Made plenty of stops. Phonix was nice, it was the 10 and the 99 freeways that goes through the middle of nowhere. But glad to be home and have this sweet ride!!

Yeah, it's definitely a good haul from AZ to NorCal. A lot of nothing in between the cities, that's for sure. At least the roads are generally good, unlike what I've been dealing with here on the East Coast the last couple years. Hopefully that's all about to end. And more importantly, no snow. haha.

In any event, enjoy the car! I still love getting into mine....

Shoot, I used to drive from Camp Pendleton to Yuma Az every weekend. I drove a 1967 Camaro via I8 through the mountain range great fun. I could only imagine what it would be like with a 1LE. I am not sure if there is more traffic now than then (86-88). It was a pretty quite road at night and early in the morning. I also drove from Yuma, AZ to Peoria AZ to see cactus league baseball... Yes very barren!!! But at speed nothing to hit but Cacti

There's a spot between Tucson and Phoenix at Picacho Peak where, for whatever reason (the mountain I guess), the wind just sometimes violently whips through there unbeknownst to those on the road. One time in my Chevy Silverado, it was so strong it literally pushed me well off the road. I can't imagine if I was riding a motorcycle what would have happened. Picacho Peak also happens to be the western-most cite of a Civil War battle. But that has nothing to do with a 1LE and makes me sound like Cliff Claven. haha

Congrats! I'm in Fresno too, my best friend and I both have '15 1LEs. We should meet up and cruise sometime.

Congrats! you will love the car, I am in the bay area. If you want to see what the 1LE can do on the track, come on out to Laguna Seca on the 4/5, I will run you around the track a couple dozen laps in my car!

Thanks everyone!!! I appreciate the welcome party!! Also does anyone have a popping or a gargling from the exhaust when you let off the pedal or the RPMs drop to 2k? My mechanic friends say it's normal, but my dad (old school big block mechanic) says it's not normal.
