If you want to go all out on coatings, Swaintech is the only way to go

The TSP’s are nice stuff. Thick wall tubing and clean bends. I would still recommend having them ceramic coated.

Just called a local company and he said $240 for the pair to be coated. Just decided to drop the sandblasting plan and do the coating.

Man this COVID thing is causing delays, waiting on about 3 different parts for my build.

That’s a good deal. Get some plug wire boot sleeves and throw in some new plugs while you’re in there. I bought a bunch of adhesive heat blankets on eBay. Ended up being pretty high quality and far less expensive than DEI.

American Racing Headers https://americanracingheaders.com/co...UaAo3OEALw_wcB are made in USA with USA 309 Stainless steel. the only real ceramic coating is Swain Tech. https://swaintech.com/race-coatings/...aust-coatings/ ARH will ship direct to Swain Tech and Swain Tech will ship them to you.

Yeah, the Swaintech coating is the best ceramic coating for headers. Had some ARH Swaintech coated headers on my C6 and it works well.

Ok, doing the cam install soon. Which headers should I get or even get them. I installed Kooks headers 1 7/8 LT last time on my 2016.

This time I am not sure what route to go but ready to order and pay.

1.) I was thinking of the Jet Hot kooks 1 7/8 or 2 inch? $1300 ish
2.) Texas Speed Performance Headers 700 ish
3.) Speed Engineering Headers. $370 ish

The range in price is from around $1300 to a low of $370. Of course there must be some consideration of quality of build. But is it like buying a Nike runner compared to a lesser shoe that still does the job. Plus the ceramic coating is it worth the extra money to go with them vrs the TSP Headers? I do want a cooler engine bay but the Nitrous does that internally. Hmmm I am not 100 % sure yet which route to go.

Our cars come factory stock with shorty headers.
