2022 Nissan Frontier
Hey look...Nissan finally brought us a new generation of the Frontier! I can't wait until 2037 for the next generation!
Jokes aside...As a Colorado owner I'm pretty interested in the mid-size truck segment and what the new models will bring. There's much coming over the next few years. We got the Gladiator, and now the Frontier has been revealed, not to mention the Ranger, Tacoma, and Colorado/Canyon will have all new generations debuting within the next couple of model years. https://www.autoblog.com/2021/02/04/...ontier-debuts/ My initial impression is that the truck looks decent to good...not a home run or anything but I don't hate it. Interior is about the same...a nice update, but nothing to get to crazy excited about. There is some nice technology baked in though, so I'll give them some props for that. The frame is an updated version of the old frame...which I don't really think is a bad thing necessarily. Would all new have been cool? Yes! But an improved version of the old works too. V6 with 9 speed standard. Overall I think this is likely a good truck that is easily competitive with the current mid-sizers without doing much fancy work. Hopefully that means a good price to go with it. People liked the old frontier for its size, it's price, and although old, I get the feeling it was reliable. if they can still bring the price and reliability factor that's worth something.

it's about to get crowded in the mid size range. This looks like a massive improvement. I hope GM comes correct on the 3rd gen Colorado. They can't follow the Tacoma model without the generations of dedicated followers.

Looks decent. It will probably be reliable like the last generation.
I wonder what the lower trim models will look like. That will determine if this truck sells..
