Will ZL1 Axleshafts Fit My 2SS

I've been searching for this answer all over the place and should have started here. Will the ZL1 rear axle half shafts bolt on to my 2018 2SS?

I installed an eForce SC and I want to install high performance axle shafts. I know I'm not running that much HP with my car which is otherwise stock at the moment. But, I want to get it tuned after installing headers and a few other mods and it makes sense to upgrade the most breakable parts on the car.

Anyone know the answer?

I believe ZL1/ZLE/SS1LE that have the E-LSD will have different axle shaft lengths than the standard LSD rear and will not fit your car

Hmmm...never thought about that. Maybe someone else will pipe in. Thanks.

No, they’re not the same. I’ve got the GForce Outlaw axles and they are really nice. Great way to go IMO.

GMPP sells a drag racing upgrade for the SS, basically I think they are ZL1 axles and ZL1 driveshaft. Check out in the member build section, something like 'Camaro Drag Program Build', he installed these parts on an SS model and had some pictures.

Something to think about is that modded SS owners launching with an automatic on drag tires seem to report breaking the stock driveshaft more often than breaking the axles.

For sure: driveshaft from a Zl1 manual bolted up to my SS manual.

I believe the 1LE (with Ediff) and the SS share the same driver's side and the 1LE has a unique passenger side. I have the Zl1 driver's side shaft, I have not have time to install on my SS so I'll post when I do it. The passenger side you still have to aftermarket for $1000 bucks. But the Zl1 driveshaft / halfshafts are cheap including shipping.
