I’m in Milwaukee and bought my 16 2SS in Detroit and my 13 ZL1 in Cleveland. I got the car and deal I wanted. Internet is a wonderful thing

Depends on the location. All the dealers here had a fair number of Camaros on the lots. AutoNation had a ZL1 in the showroom. The younger crowd down here are into them and you will see quite a few on the streets.

The amount on the lot will be a direct reflection of the demand in that location. They didn't budge because they knew someone would come along eventually and pick it up for that price. They'll only want to unload quickly when it sits for too long.

Anyway, I think your friend got what he really wanted in the first place, the Mustang GT. Hopefully he didn't get more than he bargained for. Check back with him in six months.

Mosaic black ZL1 A10. I sat in it when I had service done (top end clean for valves). They wouldn’t deal fair on my trade so I went out of state. They do have quite a few Camaro tho. Lots of Camaros on lots in Racine and Kenosha too.

There was only one SS 1LE with PDR in a 150 mile radius. That dealer never responded to me. Went to a good dealer that was willing to swap, and offer a great deal. Was negotiating with a dealer in Maryland and Illinois prior to that. The car is worth the wait IMO, but to each his own.

I found no Dealer will give a good deal on a trade unless they really need to sell a car.

And cheapest Manual:

Email. Haggle. Fly out. Drive home while enjoying your car and a road trip. I've been doing that for more than a decade. It helps that you end up getting thousands off south FL prices

Good job finding a lot more than I did, of course there is still the lousy pricing thing right now.

It's summer. Lots of folks buying. Don't let it stop you from getting quotes and haggling. A few dealers in nearby states offered me almost 3000$ in addition to the 1000$ rebate. And that was after all their dealer and doc fees.

Email attack. You'll find a motivated dealer.

Low mileage used 16-17 1SS are going for $27k ish all day long and 2SS can be had for around $32k.

Definitely the way to go if a deal is what you want....

I don't know why they just don't give me Camaros for free.

And back to Mustang he went, What's up with GM ? Are they trying to kill the car, are all there dealers dishonest shamsters ?

The dealer he was at had one, that's qty 1, SS with just a few options stickered out to $41000, they offered him a 1000 Rebate and that's it, Am I nuts or is there no deal to be had on 2a 018 Camaro SS and why do they have only one on the lot? When I say 1, he wanted Gray or Black Base SS with very few options. They had one car. So I checked more to try and sway him back. Here in LV there are very few $38,000 to $41.00 sticker price Camaros to be had unless you want White, which I would not and he does not either.

That's 4 Chevy dealers with less than 4 to choose from, c-mon, no wonder they don't sell any.

Plus Ford offered him a $2000 Rebate and a $1700 Discount on a just over $40,000 GT.

Once again, GM and Chevy are morons, crappy ads if any ads, no inventory on the car lots and lousy rebates.

I just don't understand. Flaps

GM marketing sux...there build it Camaro website even sux. Nice car, effed up marketing.
