Creaking interior door pull

Anyone else’s 6th Gen interior door handle make this creaking sound (both sides)? It’s right at the grab point so I hear it every single time I open/close the door. It appears there is plastic on plastic between the suede pad and the LED trim piece. Wondering if I could just remove the pad and put some felt tape behind it. Anyone know how to remove the pad?

See video for the issue:

I don't have that noise but the knee pads basically pop off. Just use a plastic trim tool and work your way around. There are multiple YouTube videos that show how...Like this one...

Thanks!

I had success. Removed both pads and installed felt tape in quite a few areas...the creaking is 98% gone. Much better!!

EDIT: Not sure why, but the YouTube video's aren’t showing up in the posts on any of my devices. Any idea why? Just get a white box where it should be.

Doing the same to me. Probably some YouTube rights thing I would guess. Glad you got it figured out though.

I tried using the felt method, and it seems to have helped a lot (although the creaks aren't entirely gone...). I would also recommend checking to see if the philips screws are fully tightened. I was able to slightly tighten a few by hand, and it seemed to make a big difference.

Attatched are some pictures of my doors with the felt installed, a picture of the backside of the leather pad (to see where the connectors are), and a picture of the felt I used (purchased at Michaels for $1.30).

P.S. I HIGHLY recommend using scissors to cut the felt. It is nearly impossible to cut with a blade (at least from my experience).

Thank you to those who have contributed to this thread. Today I installed felt on my driver side door panel, and it did reduce some of the noise emanating from the door pull. However, there is still noise occurring somewhere from the window switch when opening/closing the door. I suspect it is originating deep from within the plastic "cradle" that holds the window switch panel because if you keep your fingers off the small portion of this panel that composes the door pull, there is zero noise. For now, however, I'm going to leave it alone.

I’ve had this problem for a while but I can live with it. Only annoying issues I’m having is that my speakers are making my door vibrate like there’s no tomorrow and a VERY annoying rattling noise thats appearing when I floor the gas pedal :/
