Thanks Steve. I understand now that the shields can not be seen in any of the pictures I posted. They are connected behind the rotor to help place the air from the defectors in my 3rd picture.

I can't find anywhere on the PDI form where it mentioned those air dams specifically in my second picture. Oh well, I'll just make sure they go on one way or another.

Good info. 2018 1SS 1LE. 1LE doesn't get the brake duct deflectors. Have unique built in ones.

I did not however get the rear suspension covers. Only thing in the trunk was the front plate bracket which they threw in there and cut a divot in the trunk mat. Ugh!

My dealer is 2 hours away. Going to take pics and call them. See if they will send the rear covers to me.

I see Fastball never returned to this thread with his attitude after getting proven utterly and completely incorrect then

Hello,
I have an interesting story also, I bought a new 17 1SS convertible last November that sat on the lot for what my research shows as about 10 months with 350 miles on it. Anyway, I know I was getting a super deal at 36.2 plus ttlf and did not pay attention that there was no MSRP posted and rather stored in the glove box.
I bought it in Chicagoland and drove home to Green Bay, WI and detailed it literally 10 days before winter storage. I looked in the glove and noticed the MSRP listed the front air dam spoiler and the hash-marks were options but not installed.
I contacted the sales MGR and he shipped the products to me postmarked from their store.
My first question to you is "are these dealer installed options" or is something else in play?

Both parts appear to have GM part number stickers on them and the air dam is painted metalflake gray to match the car with red hash-marks.

I don't even know if I will have these installed, I kinda like the look without them.
