Buy the LT1, then get your name on the list for a 2024 SS at several dealers as you may get lucky and be first in line. Trade the 2023 LT1 in on your 2024 SS when it arrives.

Here in Wis we only pay sales tax on the difference of trade in price. If my dealer offered $40,000 for my 2023 LT1 on a 2024 1SS at $42000, I would pay tax on the $2000
Threads like these remind my of the countless threads on Corvette forum of guys asking if they should get a manual trans or auto. 50 members would offer help/opinions to someone who could not decide for themselves. |

Remove some trim, plug and play, trim back on. Cake. If you order it thru them, they say you keep your factory warranty.

I have thought about doing this but this will be no easy task for me to do due to my handicap but it is something I want to do eventually. The reviews are high with them too. |

My LT1 wasn't my exact build but it was darn close. I finally allowed myself to let go of my build and go online to look at cars within a 150 mile radius of me because I realized allot of the things I wanted were easily added on later. |

I had a '16 SS and regretted selling it. I just bought a '23 LT1 today. I really wanted a V-8, manual convertible. Everything else was secondary. I searched the forum but did not find an "official" list of differences (I was sure there would be one.)
I am just getting familiar with the car, but some of the noted differences: 1. No blind spot monitoring; 2. No HUD; 3. No proximity key? I didn't realize this until today; doors will not unlock like my 2SS did. 4. No interior lighting (I could care less); 5. No lighted door sills (don't care) 6. Narrow, squared tires (this is a weakness in handling the V-8 goodness); 7. No extra cooling systems, smaller brakes. 8. Saved $15k on a new car (yay.) Overall, I am happy with the purchase and OK with the compromises. I got almost 10% off MSRP, and Camaros are almost done, so I grabbed one that I knew I'd be happy with. YMMV. Cheers. |

Your LT1 doesn't have the button on the door handle you can press and it unlocks with the Key fob in your pocket? My LT1 has it and I didn't get any option that would include it although mine isn't a convertible. I might be confusing proximity Key with something else though.
