650HP/650TQ Vert - show me the...
Ok,
Bought my ZL1 for 3 reasons 1. Vert 2. Manual 3. High HP V8 (or any high HP/TQ in this category) What is the next car that can match with these 3 things?

The Mustang chassis is too weak and flabby to handle a GT500 convertible, so Ford couldn’t do it. Proof is in the supercharged Shelby convertible that twisted and broke during a Throttle House video.
That said, the S197 GT500 came in a vert. Also, C7Z06 and ZR1, though those are all out of production.

There are plenty, but not for the price of a camaro. A drop top isn't my cup of tea, but a Mercedes SL65 AMG would be something I'd take in a heartbeat if I could justify it.
Probably a BMW M6 Convertible, but BMW could make a car that gives you immortality and I'd still not like it. I hate them, right up with Ford because of awful experiences. But you're missing the manual transmission in both of these. The camaro is the corvette for people who wanted a manual lol |

I bought my ZL1 6M Vert for the exact same three reasons. I also always wanted a Camaro since I was a kid. But those three factors are the most important to me as well.

Same boat with mine. I had a coupe ZL1 with the 10spd but I find the m6 vert so much more fun. It’s not as quick but in a world with EVs all around that are crazy fast off the line I have shifted (pun intended) to experience over all out light to light speed.
