Umbra tail lights

anyone with a 19+ make this switch? I am not too scared of taking off the bumper cover except that it wont be pliable at all in this cold. I'd have to wait til next weekend for it to warm up and heat the garage a bit.

https://autoaddictusa.com/products/2...ack-smoke-lens

Just looking for a Wild Cherry car with these lights..or if its even worth it...

Thanks!

I just am not a fan of the 19+ OEM lights. Not sure. I mean 660 with discount right now.

I think they look fantastic, I think this is the way the 6th gen tail lights SHOULD have looked. I'll be buying a set in the near future.

I don't see why these wouldn't be legal. It has red brake and stationary lights, white backup lights and amber turn signals.

On the other hand, it is a Corvette design, the light body angles in the taillight assembly were made for that car and I don't think they fit the Camaro's body lines well, if at all, which is something outsiders will notice, while their C8 "copycatness" will turn off many enthusiasts.

I respectfully disagree. One of the most common comments I heard about the C8 when it first came out was how the the styling was great but the back end looked "too Camaro and doesnt match the front half of the car".

As far as the copycatness, I can see your point there. I dont think its as obvious though as I feel the style blends well with the lines of the Camaro and doesn't stand out. Its as if the lights belong there, so they don't really scream "Look!C8 lights!" on the car.

I really like the look of the AutoAddicts tails but I am waiting for the price to go down. (not saying it will) No way I am paying $600 + for tail lights!

I like them more than stock but not enough for that price, but if you’re like me you will get bored and buy them because what else is there to do in the winter but mod your car?

Yeah, I see where you're coming from
Actually, if I squint really, really hard, I can kind of see a similar line even on the Camaro, although IMO the body lines on our cars really only work well (ie are in harmony) with the pre-refresh taillight design.

Anyway, tastes are subjective and these taillights aren't bad at all, even though I'd also balk at the price tag—even if these aftermarket lights are 100% trouble-free, which is unfortunately not the norm, they come at a hefty premium.

Not to mention the potential hassle of having to take off the rear bumper again if a problem develops with these taillights...

I don't think they look too bad, not crazy about the milky white areas when they aren't lit, I think they look pretty good lit up... However, not $660 better, in my opinion... If GM would have put these on as factory, I would have been fine with it as well... I do like the Pre-2019 tail-lights, but only the smoked ones, I don't like the red ones (which seem VERY common), I like my smoked 2020 2SS taillights (and rear reflectors)...
