Yeah, it kinda sucks that our audio playback options are limited to low quality sources only.
If you're the type of person who listens to sacd or DVD-A, I recommend using a FLAC player thru the AUX.
That'll be much better than listening to mp3s or XM/Sirius.
But then again, the cabin of a Camaro is not exactly the ideal environment for such high-end audio stuff.

Makes me appreciate the sound of the LT1 more!

Yeah I'm picky about audio. My home setup is FLAC. Otherwise it's 320 CBR MP3 for in the car. XM is too low fidelity for me to enjoy. It's nice but I don't use it unless I have a passenger.

I need to breakdown and buy a Cowan brand player or other FLAC player only issue is they don't come with much storage and FLAC takes up tons of room.

You can use a FLAC audio player via the USB. I've borrowed my friend's Cowan player to test and it works great via USB. The player has to have a hard drive access feature when plugged in via USB.

And yes the sound of the LT1 is awesome!

LaShea and I were taking a drive in the country today while the dog was at the groomer. We were in the Cruze. She looks over and says "look a Gen6, a FIFTY!" I looked and sure enough, a 50th with the sunroof up. We drove a bit and she said "you wanna go back?", so of course I said yeah.

Turns out the guy is from Columbus, OH. And was visiting. It was an A8 coupe. And it was FILTHY, oh my goodness. We chatted a bit about our cars and we left. Very odd in my County.

We still have the only Gen6 in Lawrence County Kentucky.

That's cool you saw another one! Bummer it was dirty. Some people it's just a car. It's more than that to me. And I'm guessing the rest of us here as well lol.

Yeah, it's more than a car to me too. It's a trophy, a toy, a fun instrument, something that the wife and I can enjoy together, and we worked hard for it.

Car turned 1 month old on the 10th. I did a full detailing when I got it home and have washed it at least 8 times since. I live in the country and park on the grass (no driveway in staff housing) so she gets dirty. Plus the first show on 9/17, and now another on 10/15. But I don't mind all the washing as this is my show car, daily driver, trophy, and enjoyment!

Well I sorta Screwed up mine. I am a complete NOOB when it comes to matte vinyl. I was using my dual action buffer and just spending some quality time with my car. Thought I'd put on a nice polish and didn't think anything of it going over the vinyl. I figured I'll just buff it off with the rest and it left weird machine marks in it. A friend told me that polish has abrasives and will ruin the vinyl.

Honestly it might have been a blessing in disguise. It was the only thing I wasn't crazy about on the car.

So I pulled it. I figured the worst would be I hate it and just get GM to order a new decal.

Now the question. Do I pull the one on the back too?

You have to be almost right up on the car to see the decals anyway. They almost match the same color. Just a matte version of the Nightfall Grey .
