i'm wondering how difficult it will be to work on. i'm guessing we're at the stage where it has to go to the dealer for everything.

Here's the way I see it. If I like it, I'll buy it. I don't waste my time griping or speculating. That stuff is better off on Facebook.
The Corvette has and always will have a specific buyer.
Every automobile has its querks. You are never going to please everyone.
As for the question.....I like it. When the time comes, I'll go look at em. If it calls out to me, I'll buy it.
One remark that was said did hit the mark. So many of our American cars are losing their identity. I kinda like people to know I'm driving a Chevrolet....and not having to guess.

Again, the price and performance are nothing short of incredible, but the look ain't. Same designers that turned our Silverado into a Ford/Ram/Nissan clone. Chevy's should look like a Chevy, not someone elses ride. My 2 cents.
Then you shouldn't like the C7 Vette since it looks like a Ferrari 599... or the C5 that looked like an FD3S Mazda RX7...
