Very nice to see a black or dark colored car with bright wheels instead of the black wheels. Looks much better in my opinion.

I am partial to bright wheels also. Not that long ago black or dark wheels were unique, but now it seems that they are common. I like that my gen6 has bright wheels as it is different from the masses.

A string of coincidences here...
  • I grew up in Buffalo. A little town in New York State that shares a border with Canada
  • Now I live in Detroit, a little town in Michigan that shares a border with Canada
  • I like wheels that are....different

I powder coated my stock wheels near black on parts of them and left the polished machined surfaces bright. Best of both worlds.

Well, hey neighbor. Whats the chances. Yes, spring seems so far away. I am ready to get the car out, do some mods, put the top down and hit some car shows and cruise-ins.

Another coincidence is that I bought my car last May, after searching around for a 2018, because i wanted that 16-18 SS front end it was either go to Massachusetts or there was one in a little town a half hour outside of Buffalo. So, you guessed it, i made the 5 and half hour trip south to buy it and drove it home. That was as close as i could find one.

I like what you did with your wheels. They really go good with the car!

Very unique and looks good. That must have taken considerable prep time.

Hey Ron, Is there any Camaro clubs near you? Also I was wondering if there are any local car shows or cruise-ins, cars and coffee type meets by you and when they are. Thanks!

No Camaro clubs in the area. There is a cruise-in every Friday evening in Plattsburgh. Last year it was at Skyway Plaza. There are several car shows in the area during the summer months as well. Send me your email via private message and I will keep you informed of events and dates when I hear of them.
