2023 ZL1 wheel color

I was looking at ordering and it looks like they changed the wheel color to black….ick! Does anyone have confirmation on that? Also it looks like you have to pay for plain Jane floor mats.

I don't see any changes to the ZL1 wheels from looking at the ordering guide.

It still shows 20" Dark Graphite premium paint, forged aluminum wheels with summer-only tires.

The wheels may look black in the pictures.

GM hasn't changed much on the ZL1 since 2017.

Mine came with the lower quality front mats only. I ordered a set of the ZL1 logo premium mats and they are thicker and the set includes the matching rear mats.

Nah, the standard ZL1 has dark graphite wheels, the ZL1 1LE has black ones, and this has remained unchanged since 2017/2018.

my 23 ZL1 has 20" graphite wheels, as stated the ZLE is black (and 19")

Still the same color wheels. I had a 18 and now 22 ZL1. If I remember correctly my 18 came with plain, but much better quality mats. My 22 came with cheezy lame thin plain mats you would find at the Flea Market. Got the embroidered Lloyds mats and trunk matt.

Better than black by a bunch. Has the look of the NASCAR cup new gen wheels. Polished would be better yet but I'm actually good with them as is.

I agree with the comments about the wheel color. I'm not a fan of dark wheels, especially on a black car, but I've decided to live with the wheels rather than spend the $$$ to change them out or have them powder coated.

I remember the 2012 ZL1 had darker wheels as an option.

Agreed. Gray wheels are faster than the black ones anyway. Seriously, biggest knock on black wheels - in my opinion anyway - is the wheel design effectively disappears at about 20’ away. Visually, can’t distinguish between tire & wheel.
