About the tires - i am doing a mini road trip. Not a lot.of winding roads. But i can tell you that i just have not thought about the tires. That is saying something because the OEM, after 10k, i thought about them. I wondered if the back end was going to slip. The would spin out after a car wash. I just learned to be cautious with them. The new tires instill a ton of confidence. We will see how they are after 10K.

The new front end is growing on me after finally taking the time to see one up close.

I stopped and talked to the guy driving this one. He got this as a rental with 5 miles on it. He had 28 on it when i talked to him.

I don’t mind the front on colors like white and a few select others. Still think the non SS fronts look better due to emblem in the grille vs the fascia. I do like the new rear. Spent a lot of time looking and sitting in one at Fest this last year. I really want the tech updates. But will settle for a new daily with the new features and keep my 50th.

Or maybe retrofit the 50th with Ofer’s help from Gen5DIY.

Very cool though.

I want a Gen 3 IROC with the Gen 6 interior and motor. I spoke to a restorer and he said since the motors have their own electronics, the motor is easy. But the interior wiring, processors, fit and finish really makes it cost prohibitive to put the new interior into an older car.

I agree. These days will not come again. Enjoy raw horsepower while you can. The day is coming where we will see the combustion engine death in cars. We soon thereafter wont even be allowed to drive the car. Sad days.

But a lot of people may never leave their residence. The drone will bring them food and their internet will keep them flush in entertainment.

The day I’m told I can’t drive my own car is going to be a sad day. I LOVE driving. It’s relaxing for me.
