DIFFERENCE IN COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE SEATS
So, I have come to find out that the recaro seats are different from the coupe and the convertible. I am new to the convertible world, but thought this was interesting.
Does anyone know what the differences are? If this had been discussed or explained elsewhere, please let me know where and delete this. Here is a link to the non ZL1 recaro sets through Jegs http://www.jegs.com/p/Chevrolet-Perf...42557/10002/-1

I imagine it has to do with the seatbelt. Coupe reels are in the roof frame, Converts are in the seat.

The reals are in the rear passenger area. I wonder if the seat frames are stronger?

no, thanks for the attempt to help me figure it out. I see no obvious differences. My only thought was that the frame structures are stronger in case of a roll over, but it is purely a guess. was hoping someone with more info could help out
