You nailed it there. Consistent quality. Especially when it comes to composites, the biggest cost is the cost of mold. Molds get shifted over time because of the residual resins left inside in the mold, and molds have to be renewed. This is why quality of some of these composite products go downhill over time and fitment issues start arising. |

Here is the wing I can get and be a Guinea pig.. can be ordered with no studs and you make your own holes and inserts for studs.

Well I got my C7 Carbon wing and I am not pleased. There are several blemished and scuff in the finish. For something that I waited over 5 months for I expected better quality control.
I e-mailed C7 and am waiting on a response. [Edit]: Added pics of defects

Wow......another example of piss-poor quality control with these "wing" vendors! Just about making a buck!

So far yes-ish. I'll try for some detailed pics when I get home tonight. I had to apply slight pressure on the stanchions to get the outers to line up I haven't checked the center yet.
I was hoping to get a reply from C7 before I bolted everything down.

As you can see, there is rather significant gap. It appears as though the stanchions do not follow the curvature of the trunk lid. I heard back, but all I got was "I will follow up" when I inquired after saying I hadn't heard anything in a couple days. I'll keep you updated. |

I'm going to try and get mine bolted down in the next couple days. I really hope I don't have that issue.

Anyone have a pic of the GM and what it looks like where the stanchions meet the deck lid?

Instead of spamming this thread, I made one specific to my review/experience. I'll link it here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...1#post10683990
Hope it is of some benefit.

I think I'm more of a fan of how this one is built after my experience.

Dealing with the Chinese the last few weeks..
Sabon carbon is the cheapest and has black posts like OEM Car fly carbon had fitment issues where the stanchions lock into the wing carbon stanchions Screamingbodykits or Cao David who post alot on camaro 6 gen FB seems promising has carbon stanchions but 4 screws at to bottom of wing Cswspeed seems ok cant remember stanchions but they have some bad ass carbon doors for 1147 a set Supertechniques is pushy but did offer warranty free replacement money back return. Jsk or jks trade company resealing I'm gonna try Sabon or supertechniques but have to wait till ems offers big packages after holidays.
